| Biography: Ramiro de Sousa Barbosa was born on January 7, 1971. He received the MSc. and the PhD. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. Presently he is Coordinator Professor at the Institute of Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Department of Electrical Engineering. His main research interests include modeling, control, simulation, fractional calculus, fractional-order systems, nonlinear systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, and evolutionary algorithms. He is the author of more than 120 publications on book chapters, articles in ISI/SCOPUS Journals, and papers in international conferences. He frequently reviews articles for several IFAC, IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, SAGE, MDPI (and others) Journals, as well for numerous international conferences organizations. Also, he belongs to the International Program Committee (IPC) of several international conferences. | |
