| Biography: My Self Prof. Rama Bhargava, has a long experience in research in Applied and computational mathematics. I am currently professor in Department of Mathematics, IIT Roorkee, India. My field of specification is computational Fluid dynamics where we are using Advanced numerical techniques like Finite element, XFEM, Mesh free techniques to solve the problems of transport phenomena. Mesh free methods are quite efficient for real problems where domain is irregular and cannot be tackled efficiently by grid based schemes. We are using EFMG in many such problems. One of the Latest problem is simulation of temperature inside a tumor during cryosurgery. To increase the efficiency, we are now using Parallelization of the schemes. | |
